Church Wedding
Today I’ve attended a church wedding. It was a joyous occasion, everyone was happy for the newly weds. Being the guest, i felt very touched and happy for the bride. The songs they sang.. the prayers they received from their fellow relatives and friends.. its just so heart-warming.
The Elder said the success of a marriage consists of 6 Cs.. erm.. let me see how many can i recall…
Communications - A marriage definitely do not work when a couple do not communicate.. Its always good to talk to each other.. anything.. under the sun..the moon..the stars.. or just the clouds.. =)
Consideration - Always be considerate to one another. Take note of the small little actions that one does. Show your care and concern and they would really appreciate that.
Compromise - When it comes to quarreling, never never mention the word ‘Divorce’. When you married, you have already given your vows to forsake everything to take care of another and be there for one another. Learn to accept each other. Don’t attempt changing your spouse’s characters.. this is him/her.
Courtship - Remember the courtship days? Heh.. how loving.. how romantic.. how tender love can be… Yesh all this has to be continued even after marriage.
Oopss..and the rest of the Cs.. i cant rem le.. i have got very bad memory.. but for what i can remember, it just gave me an enlightment towards marriage. Marriage is a lifetime commitment to your partner. Do not rush into marriage for the sake of marrying. You really have to love each other.. care for each other.. and willing to spend the rest of your life with him/her. Be it healthy or not…poor or rich…
