Can you believe it?! 2 person ate about $90 over at Nihon Mura?! Its a restaurant that serves the $0.99 sushi plates. Ate a total of 8 $0.99 plates and had 12 other dishes…
All thanks to OTB! Took so many dishes without realising that there’s only 2 of us eating.. humpF!

Today we have friendly game with The Red Team. They didnt have their full strength.. We lost to them 2:3 sets. But scores i have forgoten. Hehz.. Well, it doesnt matter if we have lost.. most importantly is how have we played and what have we learnt from the friendly match.
I played fairly well.. made a few mistakes.. haha.. and my lousy blocking.. really cannot make it.. whahaha. but i tried my best le lor! =P
Once again… after the game.. old auntie am now feeling pain here and pain there.. lol.. but im still looking forward to each and every training and the upcoming matches… <3 <3 <3

Today we had another fun training at sqs starting from 10am..and ended around almost 2pm. We almost have a full team except for 2 other players who couldnt make it. Luckily our dear ZH came to join us to make up a full 12.
But you know what?! The shocking news is that i’m the oldest in the team.. (well thats fine since volleysports started when I was i think 18 or 19 years old), the second oldest in the team is 4 years younger than me!!!! and the youngest is about 9 years younger!!! OH MY GOD! I’m the only year 82 player in the team.. next will be year 86 and younger… sighz.. me old old liaoz lah! *pouts*
It was nice playing with these young players.. hehz.. young and energetic.. unlike me, old and restless.. I’m playing a position which im weakest… thats.. centre player.. my blocking really cannot make it! ARGH! But I will jia you de.. Love them all.. heh cos their energy level will perk me up to play better!
We have the 2 ‘Ah Xiaos" in the team.. always laughing and shrieking at the top of their voices.. LOL.. but well, M just get too stressed when playing .. I wonder why… *shrugs* As for Z, she becomes upset when she didnt play well..
As the captain, I wish i can psyche them up… I will jia you de.. jia you wor.. Volleysports young and energetic players… (EXCEPT ME.. haha) This seems to be one of the symptoms for me that i should retire soon le…
And today, while sending my mum to balestier… she actually initiated me to consider of retiring from volleyball… Well, thats the first time i heard from her.. she sound worried with concern. I guess the frequent visits to physio treatment for different kind of injuries had finally raised a concern to her… HMmMmm…
Yeah…my lower back… my right knee… right ankle.. left butt…and both my shoulders … hahah.. a mixture of everything…well, sq ah sq ah… think abt it lah… time to stop le ma?! …………………………………..?

Well, not sure if its good news or bad news… but my left eye has been twitching since monday.. Perhaps its bad.. cos i have been suffering from a very bad butt muscle injury or nerve pain or whatever u call it… since a week ago..
Was it because i started to be active again? Yes.. recently i have signed up for this Shape Run 2007.. www.shape.com.sg (but too bad its fully registered now.. though its 2 months away from now!) And I feel so fat now.. though my weight remains at 60kg… well, lotsa fats can still be equivalent to a leaner mass of muscles.. which do you prefer?!
This injury is causing irritating cum annoying pain in me.. causing me to have sleepless nights. the nerve pain is killing me.. and somehow.. my stiff shoulder.. started on my left instead of right!! it was so bad that its affecting my neck!
Went for accupuncture yesterday… it was such a relief.. on my butt as well as my shoulder.. but today its all coming back to me again.. am going to see the sports doctor at ssc later…
Wonder whats going on.. hope i can get some physio treatment and get this irritating nerve pain off me soon..

Wooh! So tired.. Today is the 2nd training that we have. Though the attendance wasn’t good, but we still trained hard. It was a good sweat out for all.. Poor Seet has to stay on the court for so long today.
Today my setting improved!! haha.. no more holdings! hehz, it wasn’t easy to switch back to indoor from beach. Have to constantly remind myself of the rules & concept of indoor.
Injured knee.. hurting.. (Might be due to last night drinking too) Good knee.. tired with slight pain. Can’t jump well… Especially when i gotta use my right foot to do the explosive jump.. My knee just cant make it. But this has made me learn to jump low and spike faster.. hehz.. Jia youz qin! =D Am just so tired.. How i wish i could dip myself into a tub of warm water and relaxed.. (no bathtub! *sadz*)

Haa.. these are what we called moments of fame huh? When i go to work or when i met my friends, they will all come to me and say ‘Hey I saw you on papers! Look great in bikini huh!?’ Gheez.. so flattering… *saw my wings flapping le ma*? kekeke.
Cut and kept these papers in my photo album le. HMm.. shall show it to my kids in future.. hehez..

A lot of things happened over the 3 months.. just last 4 weeks, I was in Thailand for 2 weeks to play the Asian Tour in Patthalung and Asian Championship in Songklah and Vietnam for 1 week to play the invitational tournament at Halong Bay Beach. *exhausted* Meanwhile at work, there is a change of system.. Im really still struggling with it because there isn’t much hands on for me… *cracking my brains*
Alot of friends, who havent seen me for a quite some while, had commented that i slimmed down alot. Well, i dont see the drastic change but i must admit that I did lose about 8-10kg. But I’m still a ‘L’ size gal…=| Well, i think i will try to post some before and after pics.. and do some comparisons.. kekek.
There is Ripcurl Beach volleyball 2 on 2 womens coming up this saturday.. Hehs wish me and my partner luck k! =) Meanwhile both me and my partner and getting ourselves prep for this coming SWATCH FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour held in Singapore at Sentosa Siloso Beach. Hmm.. Do come down and support us k? I know we aren’t professional players but we are singaporeans. Do come and give us the cheer if you are free on the 24th May 07. We will play our very best as Singapore representatives. *winkz*
My right knee.. has been giving me some problems lately.. the slight swellness, the pain and the stiffness.. I need to be more disciplined in my rehab. More triggerings, more stretchings, more strengthening and more icing…

Was browsing through my stack of albums of memories… gosh.. time flies.. and its now 2007.
Looking some of the pictures i took from childhood days.. to teenages years… to adulthood… i realised im AGING!!! wrinkles under my eyes… losing the elasticity and firmness on my skin.. OMG!! what will i be like 10 years down the road? An old hag with wrinkles all over.. boobs sagging.. butt sagging.. *EeeK!*
I kinda miss my active life then. I’m like so slacky now.. exercise only once a week.. *Shakes head* Feel so flabby all over.. wonder how am i going to get my ippt gold this year.. (4 pcs of $50.00 notes flying away with their wings..) I need to buck up!!! gotta start pulling up my socks le.. need to start running.. swimming.. and going to the gym.. oh oh..recently i just started with netball with the safsa.. something new for me.. hehz.. they have training every monday at kallang netball centre.. =)
Damn.. went sakura buffet last nite.. guess i had too much of raw oysters and salsom sashimi… suffered throughout the night with diarrhea.. am now having gastric again.. hmm probably also because i forgot to have my lunch yesterday.. *shruggs* Going to see the doc later… hope he have some miracle pills to stop the pain and diarrhea.. =|
